It was announced today that London’s first theatre themed cafe will open on Shaftesbury Avenue on Monday 12 January 2015.

It will be operated by London Theatre Bookings, who already own 14 tickets shops across the West End. The Theatre Cafe will offer customers the chance to browse and buy tickets on iPads whilst enjoying coffee and cake.

The intention is that visitors to the city who don’t want to buy tickets in a rush can take their time choosing the right tickets whilst also enjoying the atmosphere of a West End themed café with like-minded theatergoers.
